ITINERARY

Day 1

Commencement of Journey

Begin your adventure with a departure from Dehradun Airport in the morning, embarking on a 6-8 hour car journey adorned with picturesque landscapes. Enroute visit Khedi Waterfall. Upon arrival, depending on your energy levels and the time of the day, unwind at cozy and beautiful homestays for a brief respite. If energy permits, take a leisurely walk through the local market, absorbing the local charm.

Day 2

Pilgrimage to Gangotri

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Gangotri Temple, the highest temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. This sacred site marks the origin of the holy River Ganges from the Gangotri glacier, also known as Bhagirathi. Enroute, explore Gartang Gali in the picturesque Nelong Valley, a 150-year-old wood-lined stairway with a rich history. Return to the tranquility of Harsil Valley, where you can relax before a delightful walk down to the enchanting Bigori Village.

Day 3

Journey Homeward

Bid farewell to the captivating Harsil Valley as you head back to Dehradun, cherishing the memories of this enriching and picturesque retreat.

Delve into the natural beauty surrounding Harsil Valley with options for small hikes nearby. Choose between the Saat Tall hike or Lama Top, embracing the tranquility of the pristine surroundings. (Note: Additional Cost)





Note-The Gangotri Temple typically opens its doors from late April to November, subject to confirmation. Similarly, Gartang Gali is accessible from April to October, tentatively.
