ITINERARY

Day 1

Delhi to Jim Corbett

Morning: Start your trip from Dehradun or Delhi to Jim Corbett National Park. The drive offers picturesque views and takes approximately 6-7 hours from Delhi and 4-5 hours from Dehradun. Late Afternoon/Evening: Upon arrival, check in at your resort. Jim Corbett offers a range of accommodations, from luxury resorts to budget-friendly lodges.
Take some time to relax and unwind amidst the serene surroundings. Enjoy the resort’s amenities.Evening: Have your dinner at the resort's restaurant. Spend the evening at leisure.

Day 2

Jungle Safari and Local Exploration

Early Morning (6 AM - 10 AM): Wake up early and set out for a thrilling morning jungle safari in the core area of Jim Corbett National Park. The park is divided into different zones, such as Dhikala, Bijrani, and Jhirna, each offering unique wildlife experiences. Keep your camera ready for possible sightings of Bengal tigers, elephants, deer, and a variety of bird species.

Late Morning: Return to the resort and have breakfast. Relax for a while, perhaps by taking a dip in the pool or enjoying a nap. Afternoon: After lunch, head out to explore the Dhangarhi Museum. This museum showcases the history of the park, its wildlife, and the conservation efforts in place. You’ll find exhibits on the flora and fauna of the region, as well as artifacts and information about the famous man-eater tigers that Jim Corbett himself hunted. Enroute: Visit the Garjia Devi Temple, a scenic temple perched on a large rock in the middle of the Kosi River. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Parvati and is a popular spot for both devotees and tourists.

Evening: Return to the resort and enjoy a peaceful evening. You can relax and soak in the tranquility of the surroundings. Dinner will be served at the resort.

Day 3

Corbett Falls and Departure

Morning: After breakfast, you have the option to relax at the resort or check out early.Mid-Morning: Take a short walk (approximately 2 km) to the picturesque Corbett Falls, surrounded by dense teak wood forests. The waterfall is a serene spot ideal for nature photography and enjoying the natural beauty.

Visit the Corbett Museum, which is housed in the former home of the legendary naturalist and conservationist Jim Corbett. The museum contains personal belongings, manuscripts, and photographs of Jim Corbett, offering a glimpse into his life and work in wildlife conservation. Afternoon: Begin your journey back to Dehradun or Delhi. Enjoy the scenic drive back, reflecting on the memories of your wildlife adventure. Expect to arrive by evening, depending on traffic and road conditions.

About Jim Corbett


Jim Corbett National Park is situated in the Nainital District of Uttarakhand State, India. It was originally established during the British Raj as Hailey National Park and was later renamed in honor of the hunter and naturalist Jim Corbett after India's independence. This park is renowned for having the highest number of tigers among Indian national parks. Our package offers an opportunity to explore the lush forests of Corbett, enjoy a jeep safari through the dense forest to observe wild animals, and with some luck, even spot a tiger. Additionally, you can relax in the beautiful properties of Corbett, learn about its rich history by visiting museums, and make a religious visit to Garjia Devi Temple, among other activities.
