Last updated 15 October 2026. These terms apply to trips arranged byMilescape — Harry Tours & Trek. The specific inclusions and prices for your trip are whatever your written confirmation says.

Making a booking

An enquiry is not a booking. Your trip is confirmed once we have sent you a written itinerary and received the agreed advance payment. Until then, vehicles, rooms and dates are not held.

Prices and payment

Prices are quoted per trip and depend on the season, the group size and the vehicles and accommodation chosen. The quote lists what is included. Unless stated otherwise, entry tickets to monuments and attractions, ropeway and cable car fares, and meals not named in the itinerary are not included.

An advance confirms the booking; the balance is due as set out in your confirmation. We will tell you the accepted payment methods when we send the quote.

Changes and cancellation

If you need to change or cancel, tell us as early as you can — what we can refund depends on how close to departure it is and on what the hotels and operators we have booked will release. Cancellation terms for your trip are set out in your written confirmation.

Where we have to cancel a trip for reasons within our control, you will be offered alternative dates or a refund of what you have paid us.

Conditions beyond our control

Hill roads close for landslides, snow and weather; rivers close in peak monsoon; and authorities can restrict access to routes and shrines at short notice. Where that happens we will reroute, reschedule or substitute as best we can, and we will tell you what changed and why. We cannot refund costs that third parties will not release to us in those circumstances.

Safety on the ground

Decisions about whether it is safe to drive a stretch of road, run a river section or continue on a trek rest with the driver or guide leading your trip. Please follow their instructions. If you leave an itinerary or activity against that advice, you do so at your own risk.

Your responsibilities

• Carry valid photo identification, and any permits we tell you are needed
• Tell us in advance about medical conditions relevant to trekking, rafting or high altitude
• Be ready at the agreed pickup times; we cannot hold up a group indefinitely
• Take care of your own belongings — we are not responsible for items left in vehicles or rooms

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend travel insurance covering medical treatment, evacuation, cancellation and your belongings. For treks and rafting, check that your policy covers the activity and the altitude involved.

Liability

We arrange transport, accommodation and activities with care and work with operators we know. Where a service is delivered by a third party — a hotel, a trek operator, a rafting company — their own terms also apply. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of India, and disputes fall to the courts of Uttarakhand.
